説明
towlower()
関数は、
tolower(3)
関数に対応するワイド文字関数である。
wc がワイド文字ならば、この文字は小文字に変換される。
大文字・小文字の区別がない文字は変換されずに返される。
wc が WEOF ならば、WEOF が返される。
返り値
towlower()
関数は、wc に対応する小文字を返す。wc が
WEOF ならば、WEOF を返す。
準拠
C99.
注意
towlower()
の動作は、現在のロケールの
LC_CTYPE
カテゴリに依存する。
この関数を Unicode 文字に対して使うのはあまり適切でない。なぜなら、
Unicode には、大文字 (upper case)・小文字 (lower case)・
タイトル文字 (title case) という 3 つの "case" が含まれているからである。
