About: Database Abstraction Layer is a project to produce a general way to access databases from within PHP. The DAL class takes care of the administration involved with the different kinds of databases. DAL is extendible via plugins so support for different dbms' can be added dynamicly. Also switching from one DBMS to another is simple because not very much has to be altered to support the new DBMS.
About: exiscan is an email virus scanner that works together with the Exim MTA (http://www.exim.org). It is written in Perl, and designed to be very easy to implement. It supports multithreaded unpacking and scanning of mail, with a configurable number of processes. It has generic support for available command line virus scanners, and can scan inside of MS-TNEF and SMIME (signed) wrapped messages. Changes: exiscan now supports multithreaded scanning with a configurable number of parallel threads. Support for exim's split_spool_directory option was added, and a generic virus scanner interface was introduced.ふむ。
About: Oidentd is an ident (rfc1413) daemon that runs on Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Solaris 2.x. Oidentd supports most features of pidentd plus more. Most notably, oidentd allows users to specify the identd response that the server will output when a successful lookup is completed. Oidentd supports IP masqueraded connections on Linux, and is able to forward requests to hosts that masq through the host on which oidentd runs. Changes: A complete rewrite, with the addition of IPv6 support and a much more flexible configuration.
